You'll soar high over the Mission Bay where your view will include the beautiful Pacific Ocean. You won't be disappointed when you visit the San Diego Maritime Museum. You might call it a floating museum of boats and ships. The tall ship, Star of India, is the jewel of the Harbor, but there are also a pilot boat, a steam yacht and a steam ferry boat. You'll see thousands of amazing sealife at the Stephen Birch Aquarium and Museum in La Jolla. Visit the Tide Pool for an education hands-on experience. The massive Kelp Tank gives you an incredible undersea look at life in the water's depths. The San Diego Railroad Museum keeps alive the history of the railroad with over 80 pieces of railroad equipment including locomotives, freight cars and cabooses. 16 mile rides are available on weekends. |
